| Answer : We don't (rather be on the water, sorry!. It seems the overall best bet (time and cost) to get yourselves to us is with a rental car. It's always best to rent a car while on Oahu to get out of the city and get a real sense of the islands. For those who don't drive, or are uncomfortable doing so in a foreign country, O'ahu Airport Shuttle Co. offers a one-way base rate of $39 for one person, with $7 for each additional person. Get a 10% discount for booking (at least 48 hours ahead of time) on-line http://www.oahuairportshuttle.com/reservations.html You might want to have them bring you out to us in the morning and then catch the $1.50 bus trip (described below) home. The bus trip costs only $1.50 (adults) each way, but will increase your time to get to us by at least double (figure 2+ hours at dark thirty in the morning with the air conditioning frosting the windows). The ride home is much more pleasant. If you are interested in this mode of transport, you can get detailed information by calling the City Bus Information Dept. at (808) 848-5555, daily, 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Hawaii Standard Time, or sending an email to custserv@thebus.org |
